I got this because of the ad saying it was super quiet. I wanted to use this at my partners house without alerting the roommates. It’s not quiet at all, like, nope. The vibrations are fine but this is staying at my house and it won’t be a sneaky secret when I use it. Also! The magnetic charger would not stay connected when I put it on; it would roll off and wouldn’t charge.

We are really sorry to hear that the Dex was not as quiet as you expected. Overall, Dex’s vibrations are considered more rumbly than the average vibrator. When comparing it to other Unbound products, Dex is less rumbly than Ollie (i.e., a full size wand vibrator), but more rumbly than Bender (i.e., a flexible internal vibrator). We are grateful for your review so that your feedback can be shared with our Product Development Team and help other Unbound customers decide if the Dex is right for them. We'd like to offer a few tips to try with the charger (if the charging cable is loosely connected, the low current can permanently damage the battery)
Check that the charging pins are clear of any debris
Wash the charging pins with soap and water and dry completely
Ensure that the Dex is in a position where the pins on the charging cable are making full contact with the pins on the product

I love this new vibrator, but it doesn’t quite live up to its main selling points. It’s not as strong as some other ones I’ve tried (good to have but not what I expected from the marketing) and the handle definitely vibrates. I like that it’s waterproof but the magnets on the charger are very weak so it can be difficult to charge.

As someone who has only ever used a bullet or regular vibe as a wand, I've always been curious if a wand could be just as precise and handy. So when Dex came out, it seemed like the perfect option to try. Of course I was delayed in trying it, since it sold out twice, but that only heightened my curiosity. With the restock and finally getting my hands on one, I am glad to report that it's definitely a great tool - probably the only wand I'll ever need. I love the small size, which makes it easy to handle and maneuver, and the small head means it can be precise, providing stimulation right where you want it. And if it's power you want, it definitely delivers. It's got 4 increasingly strong vibe settings - FOUR - and 4 patterns, so likely to please a variety of preferences. I will say, in full honesty, I think it's misleading for any vibe to claim to have a "non-vibrating handle" - that's simply impossible. If any part of an object vibrates, you are going to feel it, and increasingly so at higher settings. That being said, the vibration is concentrated in the head, so the vibration in the handle is more minimal. I would definitely recommend this wand to anyone, including those who have yet to try a wand and those who are looking for the same performance of larger wands in a more compact size.
